Comments: Impeaching the president is a serious process. It was diminished when the Republicans brought that process against Clinton. There is so much talk about impeachment that it has lost its luster. In the first 200 years we had one impeachment, Johnson. Since then we have had Nixon, who resigned, and Clinton who lied about sex. Now we want to impeach Bush who probably deserves it the most yet the country just yawns at the talk of impeachment. The 2 years it would take to end the Bush reign would end up being moot as he is a lame duck.
Let's gear up for a 2008 run that can change the country. Let's put the desire for good people in office and end to the corporate control of our government at all levels from city to state to Washington. It is plain people like (Sara Jo) Shettles that should be in the House. It is this type of grassroots movement that will change the world.

Comments: I never believed I could find a genuine appreciation of the president who pardoned Nixon, but after the last six years even Ford looks good.
