Why are liberals so angry?

Liberals are passionate about change. The right wing wants to portray this passion as anger because passion is contagious. The last thing the right wing needs in this political environment is more democrats showing up at the polls. So when you hear a right wingnut say, "liberals are angry", or "why are liberals so angry", understand that they are really saying that your issues lack legitimacy. They are saying that your understandable response to war without purpose and debt beyond belief is nothing more than misplaced emotion.
The right wing is worried. They spent six years with a perfect majority screwing things up for a generation or more of Americans. That's why they want you to think Osama when you hear Obama. That's why they want you to think Hillary is going to raise taxes on the average household. That's why they want you to think that John Edwards is angry and out of control. They are afraid and the only tool they have to use is fear. So when they say "why are liberals so angry?" What they are really saying is please be afraid.
Don't be afraid. We can change things in this country. We have choices still. It isn't as if the right wing has a candidate who will do anything differently than W. Get engaged. Tell your neighbor to register to vote and tell them there is hope. Whether your activity is driven by love, or concern for your children, or anger at what has happened to America. There is no bad reason for getting involved. The only bad thing would be for others to convince you that your passion and your concerns are less than deserving of representation in America.
